I started my career in 2001 as a cook trainee with a restaurant chain in Dubai, UAE, and immediately knew that I would be in this industry for a long time as I enjoy dealing with people. After working for a few years, I moved to Kempinski hotel Kuwait before making my way back to Emirate Palace, Abu Dhabi, after two years.

After working for a few years in the Middle East, it was time to move to the Caribbean, where I started as a Sous chef with Anse Chastanet/Jade Mountain Resort in St Lucia, West Indies, and was later promoted to Executive Sous Chef. In 2010, I landed in Canada and started working with Marriott International as Executive Chef. I later moved to Executive Housekeeper, Front Office Manager and was finally promoted to Director of Operations. After working with Marriott for ten years, I recently joined Hilton International as a General Manager based in Ontario.

I believe in sharing my knowledge and training new employees, which led me to this current position with Evergreen College, where I can share real-time work examples from my experience in my life and learn from my student’s time.
